Tahona Society is a collective of spirit makers and bartenders formed in 2009 to: promote quality and authentic tequila, help bartenders learn & educate customers, grow our familia, and share Altos’ commitment to sustainability.

After 9 years of existence and 7 cocktail competitions, our key challenge was to change the concept of “another” cocktail competition into a unique program that promotes sustainable practices in the bar industry; a genuine commitment to sustainability that has helped us lead the way on this new concept.

As we travel the world meeting bartenders, we are finding more and more who share our values and want to make similar improvements in the bars. That is why all of Tahona Society competitions are now made under The Collective Spirit, connecting bartenders around the world and supporting sustainable practices through the Tahona Society competition.
